Toolzng started at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. As a Science Laboratory Technology student, formatting research documents to APA 7th edition standard was a painful, repetitive process: Times New Roman 12pt, 1.5 spacing, justified alignment, italicised scientific names, hanging indents for references.
We asked: why isn't there a tool that does this automatically, understands Nigerian academic formatting standards, and actually verifies that your references exist? So we built one.
